Thomas Quad Cyc light has been the leading cyc light for many years. A powerful light normally gelled in the 3 primary colours Red, Green and Blue (normally 2 cells in blue) When mixed can make most colours required. When used in a line along a white cyclorama an even colour wash is obtained.
